DBI COMPANY PROFILE

DBI Incorporated is a fully equipped supplier of Nondestructive Testing and Special Inspection services dedicated to providing our clients with timely and quality services. DBI, Inc. has been servicing the Midwest region for over 12 years. We are a company founded on the basic principle of providing our customers with nondestructive testing and special inspections that are cost effective and at the same time assure code and job specification compliance.

NDT, API 653 & AWS CWI PERSONNEL

Our inspection personnel have a combined experience base of over 60 years encompassing the steel fabrication and erection industry. DBI inspection personnel are American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspectors and are certified NDT Level II inspectors in Ultrasonics, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant and Radiography per ASNT TC-1A. All Level II inspectors are monitored and supervised by an ASNT NDT Level III inspector. DBI, Inc. personnel are also certified in accordance with API 653 standards and have proven experience in above ground tank inspections.

DBI PROJECTS

DBI, Inc. has successfully completed or is currently providing inspection services on numerous projects in the areas of structural steel fabrication and erection, above ground storage facilities, in-services inspections on pressure vessels, and many more. DBI, Inc. is also an approved inspection agency for numerous state departments of roads and transportation. We have successfully completed numerous bridge inspection projects for the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Colorado and Wyoming. Several of the bridge projects listed were specified as “Fracture Critical Projects”.

We have provided various nondestructive testing and visual inspections on these projects ranging from visual inspection of bolt tensioning procedures on buildings to ultrasonic flaw inspection and evaluation on full penetration welds on pressure vessels.
