DBI, Incorporated Personnel Certifications

DBI inspection personnel have a combined experience base of over 60 years encompassing the steel fabrication and erection industry. DBI Inspectors undergo update training on all methods of testing on a continuous basis.

AWS Certified Welding Inspectors Certifications:

DBI Inspection personnel are certified in accordance with AWS QC1. Currently DBI has 10 AWS Certified Welding Inspectors on staff. Each inspector has undergone extensive code interprtation training and is familiar with most of todays industries code specifications.

AWS Certified Welding Educators Certifications:

DBI training personnel are Certified Welding Educators in accordance with the requirements of Section 6 of the AWS Standard for Qualification and Certification of Welding Educators, AWS QC5.

American Society for Nondestructive Testing Certifications:

DBI Inspection personnel are certified NDT Level II inspectors in Ultrasonics, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Leak Testing, Eddy Current Testing and Radiography per ASNT TC-1A. All Level II inspectors are monitored and supervised by an ASNT NDT Level III inspector.

American Petroleum Institute Certifications:

DBI, Inc. personnel are also certified in accordance with API 653 standards and have proven experience in above ground tank inspections.
